我昔生梵天　為有小愛故
而墮毘離國　與汝同憂苦
我見汝無衣　心生保善護
示化於窠圍　當得諸濟度

"Formerly I was born in the Brahmā Heaven; / Because of a slight attachment, / I fell into the land of Vaiśālī, / Sharing sorrows and suffering with you. / Seeing that you had no clothing, / A thought of protective goodness arose in my heart: / I manifested transformations in the cocoons, / And you ought to attain all salvations."
