烏剌尸國（北印度也）周二千餘里。山阜相屬。都城周十八里。不信佛法。屬迦濕彌羅。有佛塔高二十餘丈。育王所造。有寺僧少學大乘教。又東南登山鐵橋千餘里至。

the country of Uraśā (in North India), over two thousand li in circumference. Mountains and hills follow one after another. The capital city is eighteen li in circumference. The people do not believe in the Buddha-Dharma. It is subject to Kaśmīra. There is a Buddha stupa more than two hundred feet high, built by King Aśoka. There is a monastery with few monks, who study the Mahāyāna teachings. Further southeast, climbing mountains and crossing an iron bridge for more than a thousand li, one reaches
