1.65

又誣云。漢末有笮融者。合兵依徐州刺史陶謙。謙使之督運。而融先事佛。遂斷盜官運以自利入大起佛寺云云。行人悉與酒食云云。後為劉繇所攻見殺云云。

They also slanderously say: 'At the end of the Han dynasty, there was Ze Rong, who gathered troops and placed himself under Tao Qian, the Inspector of Xuzhou. Qian had him supervise transport; but Rong had already been serving the Buddha, and so he embezzled the official transports for his own gain, built large Buddhist monasteries, provided passersby with wine and food, and was later attacked and killed by Liu Yao.'
