11.25

省所奏具意。今所以相屈者。時所須也。不復相推本心以及於此。煩懃懃廣自料理吾之情趣。想卿等以體之在素。不復煩言。便可奉承時命勉菩薩之蹤耳。

I have examined what you memorialized and understand your intention fully. The reason I am constraining you now is that the times require it. I am not pursuing your original aspiration down to this level; there is no need for you to trouble yourselves with diligent and extensive self-defense. As for my intentions, I think you gentlemen have already understood them from of old; I need not trouble myself with further words. You may promptly comply with the current order and exert yourselves in the tracks of the bodhisattva.
