太上清淨消魔寶真安志智慧本願大戒上品經四十九願云。若見沙門尼。當願一切明解法度得道如佛。
The Supreme Pure Demon-Dispelling Treasure-Truth Mind-Settling Wisdom Original Vow Great Precepts Superior Chapter Scripture, in its forty-nine vows, says: 'If you see a bhikṣuṇī, you should vow that all beings clearly understand the Dharma measures and attain the Way like the Buddha.'
