太上清淨消魔寶真安志。智慧本願大戒上品經四十九願云。若見沙門尼。當願一切明解法度得道如佛。

"The Forty-Nine Vows of the Taishang qingjing xiaomo baozhen anzhi zhihui benyuan dajie shangpin jing (Highest Chapter Scripture of the Great Precepts of the Primal Vow of Wisdom for Purely Dispelling Māras, Treasuring the True, and Calming the Will by the Supreme) state: 'If one sees a śramaṇa or nun, one should vow that all beings clearly comprehend the Dharma regulations and attain the Way like the Buddha.'"
