有考古通人。與占衡君子觀李卿誹毀之論。閱開士辯正之談。詳而議之。發憤興歎。欲使邪正異轍。真偽分流。定其是非以明得失。冀後進者永無疑焉。

There was a scholar versed in antiquity and an observant gentleman who examined Official Li's defamatory treatises and read the Bodhisattva's clarifying discourses. After careful deliberation, they sighed with indignation, wishing to set the heterodox and orthodox on separate paths, to divide the true from the false, and to determine right and wrong so as to clarify gains and losses, hoping that future students would be forever free from doubt.
