Inside the abandoned Changgan Temple, east of the ancient Yue Citadel and southeast of the Suzaku Gate of the old capital in Jiangning County of Runzhou: formerly, in the Western Jin, the monk Huida sensed its light, and digging down one zhang, he obtained three stone caskets. Inside was a golden box holding three śarīras, together with hair and nail relics. When pulled, the hair stretched to about three feet; when released, it spiraled back. Today there is a three-story brick stupa along with a mast and Buddha hall. The rest is merely thicket and hazel wood; when tigers climbed onto the base and defiled it, they were struck so that they howled and terrified people, and some died.
