夫道流雲屋德感椒闈。必以前籍勝因宿稟嘉數。況重霑法雨更披慧日。雖異姜后解珥請罪於周王。不待樊姬捨肉有激於荊后。而遵恭儉去嗜欲。棄彫璣徹靡麗。了心不滯正見無疑。眾等齊誠奉為六宮眷屬。歸命敬禮。云云。

Now, the Dao flows through the cloud-like chambers, and virtue moves the peppered apartments; it surely derives from past good conditions and fine destinies received in former lives. How much more so when receiving again the Dharma rain and uncovering once more the sun of wisdom! Though differing from Queen Jiang removing her hairpin to plead guilty before the King of Zhou, and not waiting for Consort Fan abstaining from meat to stir the Lord of Chu, they follow reverence and frugality, cast away desires, discard carved gems, and eliminate extravagance. Their minds are unattached, and their right views are free of doubt. The assembly, with uniform sincerity, on behalf of the kin of the Six Palaces, takes refuge and pays reverent homage, and so forth.
