17.34

蔣州於栖霞寺起塔。隣人先夢。佛從西北來。寶蓋旛花映滿。寺眾悉執花香出迎。及舍利至如所夢焉。

In Jiang prefecture, a pagoda was erected at Qixia Temple. A neighbor previously dreamt that the Buddha came from the northwest, with jeweled canopies, banners, and flowers filling the view, and the temple assembly all came out holding flowers and incense to welcome him; when the relics arrived, it was just as in the dream.
