18.60

驎維問。三世長於百年。三千廣於赤縣。四部多於戶口。七寶妙於石沙。此亦方有小大。故化有遠近。得不謂之然乎。

Lin and Wei ask: The three times are longer than a hundred years; the trichiliocosm is broader than the Red County; the fourfold assembly is more numerous than [China's] households; the seven treasures are finer than stone and sand. These differences are also because regions vary in size, and thus transformations vary in reach. Can one say otherwise?
