二十三日。會其後諸僧尼。或猶云。律中無斷肉事及懺悔食肉法。其月二十九日。又勅請義學僧一百四十一人義學尼五十七人。於華林華光殿使莊嚴寺法超。奉誠寺僧辯。光宅寺寶度等三律師。昇高座御席地施座。餘僧尼亦爾。

After the gathering on the twenty-third day, some monks and nuns still said that in the vinaya there is neither any matter of abstaining from meat nor any method of repenting for eating meat. On the twenty-ninth day of that month, an imperial decree again invited one hundred and forty-one doctrinal scholar monks and fifty-seven doctrinal scholar nuns to the Huaguang Hall of Hualin [Park], ordering the three Vinaya masters—Fachao of Zhuangyan Temple, Sengbian of Fengcheng Temple, and Baodu of Guangzhai Temple—to ascend the high seats. An imperial mat was arranged on the ground, and the remaining monks and nuns were seated likewise.
