第六慚愧帝王。恒以十善化導天下。故國安寧五穀豐熟。所以百姓安家復業。出家之人泰然安樂任其禪誦。而今懈惰。深是可恥。

Sixth, feeling shame before the sovereign and rulers: They constantly guide the world with the ten good deeds, so that the country is peaceful and the five grains are plentiful and ripe, allowing the common people to settle their homes and resume their occupations, and renouncers of household life to abide in ease and peace, free to engage in meditation and recitation. Yet now I am indolent; this is deeply shameful.
