第七慚愧檀越。出家所懷解脫為本。形骸資待衣食為先。所以諸俗為道興福。供給資緣故隆正業。而或不全失於敬重。亦可深愧。

Seventh, feeling shame before the dānapatis: What a renouncer of household life cherishes takes liberation as its root, while the support of the physical body takes clothing and food as primary. Thus laypeople cultivate merit for the sake of the Way, supplying necessary requisites to promote righteous practice. Yet sometimes failing to maintain this fully, lacking in reverence and respect, one should also be deeply ashamed.
