第九慚愧所化諸人。由我無德久不種緣。致使開悟莫能津濟。故令聽者徒枉功夫。縱聞雜善不獲純淨內心自疚。深可慚愧。

Ninth, feeling shame before all those beings to be transformed: Because I lack virtue and have long failed to plant karmic conditions, when I open up understanding for others, none can cross over, thus causing the listeners to waste their efforts in vain. Even if they hear mixed goods, they do not attain purity, and internally my mind reproaches itself. This is deeply cause for shame and remorse.
