Senglang bows his head and prostrates himself. When the Capable One governs the world, his heroic models reach far into the distance, brightly spreading the transformation of the Way and blending to rescue the four seas. This poor monk unworthily partakes in the flavor of the Way, practicing the teachings amid mountain forests; how could the imperial edict consult even on national crises? When a king responds to his period, he unites and commands the six directions; the great absorbs the small, which is naturally the constant order. Just as the sunflower leans toward the sun, and the flying and walking creatures venerate the qilin and phoenix, the imperial favor spreads wide, and the multitude of living beings look up in reliance. With Your Majesty's lofty brilliance, what thought could fail to submit? In this remote forest, this poor monk has received gifts far exceeding my station. Senglang bows his head.
