今日此眾。誠心懺悔六根障業。眼識無明易頃朱紫。一隨浮染則千紀莫歸。雖復天肉異根法慧殊美。故因見前境隨事起惡。今願捨於肉眸俱瞬佛眼。如決目王見淨名方丈之室。多寶踊塔之瑞。牟尼鷲山之光。彌勒龍華之始。常遊淨土永步天宮。

Today, this assembly with sincere hearts repents the karmic hindrances of the six sense organs. The ignorance of the visual consciousness easily confuses scarlet and purple; once following fleeting defilement, there is no return for a thousand ages. Though divine and fleshy organs are distinct, and Dharma-wisdom is singularly sublime, yet through seeing objects before us we give rise to evil in accord with circumstances. Now we vow to renounce the fleshy eye and wink together with the Buddha eye, like the eye-gouging king seeing the square-zhang room of Vimalakīrti, the auspicious sign of Prabhūtaratna's emerging stūpa, the light of Śākyamuni on Vulture Peak, and the inception of Maitreya's Dragon Flower; always roaming in pure lands, eternally striding through heavenly palaces.
