30.16

三悔啟前朝。雙懺暨中夕。鳴禽戒朗旦。備禮寢玄役。蕭索庭賓離。飄颻隨風適。踟蹰岐路嵎。揮手謝中析。輕軒馳中田。習習陵電擊。息心投佯步。零零振金策。引領望征人。悵恨孤思積。咄矣形非我。外物固已寂。吟詠歸虛房。守真玩幽賾。雖非一往遊。且以閑自釋。

The three repentances initiate the early morning; / The double confession reaches the midnight.
Calling birds warn of the bright dawn; / Rites completed, the mysterious duties cease.
Dispersing in desolation, the guests leave the courtyard, / Drifting away with the wind wherever it goes.
Hesitating at the fork in the road, / I wave my hand, bidding farewell to those departing.
Light carriages race through the fields, / Breezily darting like flashes of lightning.
Resting my mind, I walk with feigned leisure, / Lightly striking my metal staff.
Stretching my neck, I gaze after the travelers, / Resentful sorrow and lonely thoughts accumulating.
Alas! The physical form is not me; / External objects are indeed already quiet.
Chanting poetry, I return to the empty chamber, / Holding to truth and enjoying subtle mysteries.
Though this is not a permanent journey, / For now I release myself through seclusion.
