上宰明四空。迴車八道中。洞涼容麥氣。巖光對月宮。香來詎經火。花散不隨風。㵎松無異聒。禪桂兩分叢。虛薄誠為累。何因偶會同。暫此乖山北。猶可向牆東。

The Prime Minister understands the four emptannesses;
He turns his chariot within the eightfold path.
The cavern's coolness welcomes the scent of wheat;
The cliff's luster faces the lunar palace.
Incense arrives without passing through fire;
Flowers scatter without following the wind.
Ravine pines make no discordant clamor;
Dhyāna cassias divide into two groves.
Emptiness and shallowness are truly my burden;
By what cause could we meet together?
Though temporarily parting from the north of the mountain,
One may still turn toward the east of the wall.
