可不同一貫。生死亦一條。況斯滅盡者。豈是俗中要。人道離群愴。冥期出世遙。留連入㵎曲。宿昔步巖椒。石溜氷便斷。松霜日自銷。向崖雲靉靆。出谷霧飄颻。勿言無大隱。歸來即市朝。

Why should they not share a single thread?
Life and death are also of one path.
How much more for this one who attained extinction!
How could he be bound by worldly concerns?
The human path is grieved by parting from the flock;
The dark bond transcends the world into the distance.
Lingering, I enter the windings of the ravine;
Overnight, I tread the summit of the crag.
Stone trickles turn to ice and break;
Pine frost melts naturally in the sun.
Toward the cliff, clouds gather thick and dense;
Emerging from the valley, mists drift and flutter.
Do not say there is no great recluse;
Upon returning, one is instantly in marketplace and court.
