又說統收道經目錄。乃有六千餘卷。覈論見本止有二千四十卷。餘者虛指未出。將非鉛墨未備致經本未成乎。自餘孟浪紛綸無足更廣。

Furthermore, they claim their comprehensive catalogue of Daoist scriptures collects over six thousand fascicles; yet upon critical investigation, only 2,040 fascicles have extant copies. The rest are empty designations that have not appeared. Could it not be that they lacked brushes and ink, so the texts were never produced? The rest of their wild exaggerations and confusion are not worth expounding further.
