9.97

又云。我與靈寶同時出沒。又云。我隨劫生死。計靈寶運滅。太上隨亡。而云長生不死。此為妄也。又玉京在眾天之上災所不及。理合可疑。一切形色無有存者。玉京玉臺斯為色界。色界非常。玉京豈存。又赤明甲子之號。殊同河漢之實矣。

It also says: 'I appear and vanish at the same time as Lingbao.' And it says: 'I undergo birth and death following the kalpas.' Calculating this: when the cycle of Lingbao perishes, Taishang perishes along with it. Yet to say 'he lives long and never dies'—this is false. Furthermore, that the Jade Capital is above all the heavens and beyond the reach of catastrophes is rationally doubtful: not a single form or color remains [in the formless]; the Jade Capital and the Jade Terrace belong to the realm of form; the realm of form is impermanent; how could the Jade Capital remain? Moreover, the designations of Crimson Brightness and jiazi are utterly like the talk of the Milky Way—completely unsubstantiated.
