Eleventh, in the first year of the Yixi reign era of the Eastern Jin, the Minister over the Masses Wang Mi entered the palace and stayed at the East Side Gate. An attendant saw five-colored light emerge from the ground to the east of the gate; surprised, he excavated it and found an archaic bronze basin, under which he obtained a golden image four feet high, complete with halo and pedestal. This again was like Sun Hao's King Aśoka image. He consequently presented it to the palace. Emperor Wu of the Song dynasty had not previously believed much, but upon obtaining this image, his respect increased and he was joyfully awakened, personally worshipping and attending to it. This image was originally in Waguan Temple, and was later moved to Longguang Temple, it is said.
