才膺佐命。寵亞二南。蓋朝廷具瞻。人倫勢望。兼信佛法。大建福田。樂與名僧高談至理書經。造像修補伽藍。

His talent was suited to assisting the mandate; his imperial favor was second only to the Two Nans. He was indeed an exemplar for the court, possessing high prestige among his fellows. In addition, he had faith in the Buddha's Dharma, extensively establishing fields of merit. He delighted in holding lofty discussions on the ultimate principle with eminent monks, copying scriptures, making images, and restoring monasteries.
