8.30

君子曰。如前所列法門名字。並偷佛經為其偽典。一一尋檢部部括窮。備取涅槃般若之文。或偷法華維摩之說。其為竊盜取驗目前。博識名儒咸所詳究。未遑委出略舉其大旨也。

The Noble Person says: The names of Dharma gates listed above are entirely stolen from Buddhist sūtras to create their forged scriptures. Investigating them one by one and thoroughly examining each division, they fully took texts from the Nirvāṇa and Prajñā, or stole the expositions of the Lotus and Vimalakīrti. That this was plagiarism is verifiable right before our eyes. Broadly learned and celebrated Confucians have all investigated this in detail; lacking the leisure to present everything in full, I have merely summarized the main points.
