8.31

昇玄內教經云。道言五品五氣周流八極。或號元始。或號老君。或號太上。或號如來。當思念遊諸天宮宅。與帝釋問佛論經。

The Shengxuan neijiao jing (Scripture of the Inner Teaching of Ascending to the Mystery) says: 'The Dao spoke of the five grades and five qi circulating throughout the eight extremes; sometimes called Primordial Beginning, sometimes called Lord Lao, sometimes called Most High, and sometimes called Tathāgata. One should contemplate traveling among the palaces of the various heavens, questioning the Buddha and discussing scriptures with Lord Śakra.'
