妙明曰。吾居是山也。幾以數年而世罕知（吾者我也。幾者。近也。罕者少也謂我居此山。將近十數年矣。而世人少知）。

Miaoming said, 'I have dwelt in this mountain for nearly several years, and the world rarely knows of it. ('I' [wu] means me. 'Nearly' [ji] means close to. 'Rarely' [han] means few. It means: I have lived in this mountain for nearly ten-odd years, and worldly people rarely know of it.)
