況以傾家財發善意。其所得福利。巍如嵩泰。濬如江海矣（傾倒覆也。濬深也如趙盾漂母。一飯之恩。尚獲扶輪捧金之報。況於傾其家財而發其善心用於布施者所獲福利豈不巍大高廣如嵩山泰嶽濬深江海之浩瀚者矣）。

How much more so when one empties family wealth and generates wholesome intention: the merit and blessings one obtains are as towering as Mount Song and Mount Tai, and as deep as the Yangtze and the ocean! (Qīng means pouring out and emptying; jùn means deep; like Zhao Dun and the washerwoman, for the kindness of a single meal they still received the recompense of supporting the wheel and receiving gold; how much more so for those who empty their family wealth and arouse a wholesome mind for generosity—how could the merit and blessings they obtain not be as towering, lofty, and vast as Mount Song and Mount Tai, and as deep as the expanse of the Yangtze and the sea!).
