東抵驪山。僅五十里。十步一樓。五步一閣（東至驪山。西至咸陽將五十里。除萬人宮外十步五步。皆建樓閣）。

To the east it reached Mount Li, fully fifty li away, with a tower every ten paces and a pavilion every five paces. (Reaching Mount Li in the east and Xianyang in the west, it was nearly fifty li. Apart from the palace for ten thousand people, every ten and five paces they built towers and pavilions.)
