王問太史扈多曰。是何瑞也。扈對曰。此西方大聖人入滅所現相也（緝事記。穆王名滿。昭王之子。在位五十五年。壬申五十二年二月十五日世尊涅槃）。

The king asked the Grand Astrologer Hu Duo, "What auspicious sign is this?" Hu Duo replied, "This is the sign manifested by the Great Sage of the west entering extinction." (The *Record of Collated Affairs* states: King Mu's given name was Man; he was the son of King Zhao and reigned for fifty-five years. On the fifteenth day of the second month of the fifty-second year, *renshen*, the World-Honoured One entered nirvāṇa).
