5.61

與天地而遐久。非含和蘊素忘懷守雌者。不足與語此道也（若不是含養中和蘊積純真忘其情欲。守一若雌之抱卵。孳孳而為道者。不足以論此道德也）。

Enduring through the distant ages along with Heaven and Earth. Unless one harbors harmony, amasses purity, forgets concerns, and keeps to the feminine, one is not fit to discuss this Way with. (If one does not nurture central harmony, amass pure authenticity, forget affective desires, and preserve the One like a hen brooding over eggs, diligently practicing for the sake of the Way, one is not fit to discuss this Dao and De.)
