Regarding the above: during the lifetime of Amoghavajra's late master, he specially received the grace of Xuanzong to establish the aforementioned pagoda compound. The years and months have grown distant, the shrines and buildings have collapsed, incense and fire lack offerings, and there is no one to sweep and sprinkle. Now, I request to select seven bhadantas from various temples to reside in that compound, repenting and reciting during the six periods of the day, cultivating the three mysteries of Yoga on behalf of the state, and continuing the former heritage of master and disciple.
