傍人灑王乃得醒寤。還至坐處。抱鳩那羅置其膝上。復抱其頸啼哭落淚。手拂頭面憶其昔容。而說偈言。
Those beside him sprinkled the king with water so that he revived. Returning to his seat, he embraced Kuṇāla and placed him on his knees, then embraced his neck, weeping and shedding tears. Stroking his head and face with his hand, he remembered his former appearance and spoke a verse:
