46.39

時屈摩夜叉鬼。來詣佛所稽首佛足退住一面。時屈摩鬼白佛言。世尊。今請世尊與諸大眾。於此夜宿。世尊默然。是時屈摩化作五百重閤房舍臥具坐床踞床。俱執褥枕各五百具。又化作五百燈明。無諸烟焰（出雜阿含第四十九卷）。

At that time, the yakṣa-demon Kumbhīra came to the Buddha's place, bowed his head at the Buddha's feet, and withdrew to stand at one side. Then the demon Kumbhīra said to the Buddha, "World-Honored One, I now invite the World-Honored One and the great assembly to lodge here for the night." The World-Honored One remained silent. Thereupon, Kumbhīra magically created five hundred multi-storied chambers, beddings, couches, and sitting platforms, each accompanied by five hundred sets of cushions and pillows.
