閻浮提外東方海中。有琉璃山名之為潮。高二十由旬具種種寶。其山有窟名種種色。是昔菩薩所住之處。縱廣一由旬高六由旬。有一毒蛇在中而住修聲聞慈。復有一窟名曰無死。高廣亦爾。是昔菩薩所住之處。中有一馬修聲聞慈。復有一窟名曰善住。高廣亦爾。昔菩薩處中。有一羊修聲聞慈。其山樹神名曰無勝。有羅剎女名曰善行。各有五百眷屬圍繞是二女人常共供養如是三獸。

Beyond Jambudvīpa, in the eastern sea, there is a lapis lazuli mountain named Tide, twenty yojanas high, replete with various jewels. In that mountain there is a cave named Various Colors, which was the dwelling place of a bodhisattva in the past. It is one yojana in breadth and length, and six yojanas high. A poisonous snake dwells within it, cultivating the benevolence of a śrāvaka. There is another cave named Deathless, equal in height and breadth, which was the dwelling place of a bodhisattva in the past. Inside it, a horse cultivates the benevolence of a śrāvaka. There is another cave named Good Abode, equal in height and breadth, which was the dwelling place of a bodhisattva in the past. Inside it, a sheep cultivates the benevolence of a śrāvaka. The tree deity of that mountain is named Invincible; there is a rākṣasī named Good Conduct. Each is surrounded by a retinue of five hundred. These two women constantly make offerings together to these three beasts.
