47.36

閻浮提外南方海中。有頗梨山高二十由旬。有窟名曰上色。縱廣高下亦復如是。亦是菩薩昔所住處。有一獼猴修聲聞慈。復有窟名曰誓願。高廣亦爾。昔菩薩處中。有一鷄修聲聞慈。復有一窟名曰法林。高廣亦爾。昔菩薩處中。有一犬修聲聞慈。中有火神。有羅剎女名曰眼見。各有五百眷屬圍遶。是二女人常共供養是三鳥獸。

Beyond Jambudvīpa, in the southern sea, there is a crystal mountain twenty yojanas high. There is a cave named Supreme Color, equal in breadth, length, height, and depth, which was also a dwelling place of a bodhisattva in the past. A monkey cultivates the benevolence of a śrāvaka there. There is another cave named Vow, equal in height and breadth, where a bodhisattva dwelt in the past. Inside it, a fowl cultivates the benevolence of a śrāvaka. There is another cave named Forest of Dharma, equal in height and breadth, where a bodhisattva dwelt in the past. Inside it, a dog cultivates the benevolence of a śrāvaka. Inside there is a fire deity; there is a rākṣasī named Eye-Seeing. Each is surrounded by a retinue of five hundred. These two women constantly make offerings together to these three birds and beasts.
