8.51

此人至心欲度十方不惜身命。故取眾花以散上佛。意無想報已得受決。將來成佛號曰妙花。王大歡喜。疾解眾縛悔過自責。愚意不及繫縛菩薩。佛言。善哉善哉。能自改者與無過同（出採花違王上佛授決號妙花經）。

"These men, with a sincere mind desiring to deliver the ten directions, did not spare their bodies and lives; therefore they took the flowers and scattered them as an offering to the Buddha. In their minds they had no thought of reward, yet they have already received the prediction that they will become Buddhas in the future named Sublime Flower." The king was overjoyed, swiftly untied their bonds, repented, and reproached himself: "My foolish mind was inadequate, binding bodhisattvas!" The Buddha said: "Excellent, excellent! One who can reform himself is the same as one without fault."
