The palace of the Yāma (in Liang language: Time) heaven is supported by a wind wheel in empty space. The king is named Suyāma (the *Da zhidu lun* says: Miaoshan). His body is two yojanas tall; his garments are four yojanas long and two yojanas wide, weighing three zhu, and they come forth from trees, being bright, pure, radiant, and of various colors. His body has radiance and does not rely on the sun or moon. Through wholesome actions of body, speech, and mind, or through gifts of lamps, candles, bright pearls, and the like, and through deeds such as keeping precepts and dhyāna-concentration, one is born into Yāma heaven. The lifespan of the gods is two thousand celestial years, with few exceeding and many falling short. Their eating, drinking, marriage, and sexual desire are like those in Trāyastriṃśa heaven (the *San fadu lun* says that with attached minds they embrace to accomplish sexual desire; if not deeply attached, it does not constitute pleasure). At birth, their form is like that of a four-year-old human. The radiance of Trāyastriṃśa heaven cannot reach here (from fascicle 20 of the *Dīrghāgama*, and also from the *Loutan jing*, the *Da zhidu lun*, and the *Avataṃsaka*).
