10.110

太子以右羅網指　萬字千輻輪相現
金色柔軟清淨手　用摩馬王揵陟頭
猶如兩人對語言　汝同日生馬揵陟
莫過悲啼生懊惱　汝作馬功已訖了
我若當證甘露味　所可負載於我者
分別密教甚深法　報答於彼終不虛

The prince, with the webbed fingers of his right hand,
Revealing the mark of the svastika and the thousand-spoked wheel,
With his golden, soft, and pure hand,
Stroked the head of Kaṇṭhaka, king of horses.
Just like two people conversing face to face:
"You, the horse Kaṇṭhaka born on the same day,
Do not weep excessively or give rise to anguish;
Your work as a horse is now finished.
If I realise the taste of amṛta,
For having carried me,
Distinguishing the esoteric teaching and profound Dharma,
I shall repay you, never in vain."
