10.89

世榮雖快樂　有生老病死
此四種若無　我心誰不樂
生老病死法　住此生老病
若住生樂心　共鳥獸無異

"Though worldly glory brings happiness,
there are birth, old age, sickness, and death.
If these four did not exist,
whose heart would not rejoice?
It is the nature of birth, old age, sickness, and death
to dwell within this birth, old age, and sickness;
if one dwells in them and gives rise to a joyful heart,
one is no different from birds and beasts."
