12.63

無常力甚大　愚智貧富貴
得道及未得　一切無能免
非巧言妙寶　非欺誑力諍
如火燒萬物　無常死法爾

"The power of impermanence is exceedingly great: / The foolish and the wise, the poor, the rich, and the noble, / Those who have attained the path and those who have not, / None whatsoever are able to escape. / It is not averted by artful words or wondrous treasures, / Nor by deceit, force, or contention; / Just as fire consumes the ten thousand things, / The impermanent law of death is simply so."
