19.63

晉沙門竺僧朗者。戒行明嚴華戎敬異。甞與數人俱受法請。行至中途忽告同輩曰。君等留寺衣物似有竊者。同侶即反。果乃盜焉。

The śramaṇa Zhu Senglang of the Jin was strict and pure in his precept practice, and both Chinese and non-Chinese revered him as extraordinary. Once, he was invited to a Dharma gathering together with several people. When halfway there, he suddenly told his companions, ‘It seems someone is stealing the clothing and possessions you left at the temple.’ His companions immediately returned, and indeed a theft had occurred.
