命如風中燈　不知滅時節
今日復明日　不覺死輕至
冥冥從業緣　不知生何道

Life is like a lamp in the wind:
One knows not the season of its extinction.
Today, and again tomorrow,
Unaware, death swiftly arrives;
Darkly following karmic conditions,
One knows not into which destiny one will be born.
