又正法念經云。若破戒多欲而行惡法。實非沙門自稱沙門。猶如野干著師子皮。如虛偽寶內空無物。又莊嚴論偈云。
Furthermore, the *Saddharmasmṛtyupasthāna-sūtra* states: If one breaks the precepts, has much desire, and performs evil dharmas, one is not truly a śramaṇa though calling oneself a śramaṇa—just like a jackal wearing a lion's skin, or a counterfeit jewel that is empty inside and devoid of substance. Furthermore, verses in the *Mahāyānasūtrālaṃkāra* state:
