24.52

佛告大王。爾時長者婦者。今王女金剛是。五百侍女者今度勝等五百妓女是。罪福追人久無不彰。善惡隨人如影隨形。說是法時諸來大小即得道迹。

The Buddha told the great king: "The householder's wife at that time was none other than the king's daughter Vajrā today. The five hundred maidservants were none other than Duśeng and the other five hundred singing girls today. Sins and blessings pursue a person; after a long time, there is none that does not manifest. Good and evil follow a person just as a shadow follows the body." When this Dharma was preached, all who had come, both great and small, attained the path-track (srotāpanna).
