東陽留寵。字道弘。居于姑熟。每夜門庭自有血數斗。不知所從來。如此三四。後寵為折衝將軍。見遣北征。將行而炊飯盡變為蟲。其家人蒸粆亦變為蟲。其火逾猛其蟲逾壯。寵遂北征。軍敗於壇上。為徐龍所殺。

Liu Chong of Dongyang, styled Daohong, lived in Gushu. Every night, several dou of blood would appear of their own accord in his courtyard, no one knowing where they came from.
