爾時文殊問長者子言。汝識此妹不。長者子言。我今實識。文殊師利言。汝云何識。時長者子。即向文殊。而說偈言。
At that time, Mañjuśrī asked the elder's son: 'Do you recognise this sister?' The elder's son said: 'I now truly recognise her.' Mañjuśrī said: 'How do you recognise her?' At that time, the elder's son turned to Mañjuśrī and spoke a gāthā:
