佛言。第九王夢見大陂水中央濁四邊清者。此後世中國當擾亂治行不平。人民不孝父母。不敬長老。邊國四面當清平。人民和穆孝順二親。王夢正是。王莫恐悑。

The Buddha said: "The ninth dream, in which the king saw a great pond whose center was turbid while its four sides were clear: this means that in future generations, the Central Kingdom will be turbulent, its governance and conduct unjust, its people unfilial toward their parents and disrespectful toward elders, whereas the border realms in all four directions will be peaceful and clear, their people harmonious and filial toward their parents. The king's dream refers precisely to this. Great King, do not fear."
