曠路作好井　種植園果施
樹林施清涼　橋船渡人民
布施修淨戒　智慧捨慳貪
功德日夜增　常生天人中

“Making fine wells on wide roads,
Planting orchards and giving them,
Providing cool shade with groves of trees,
Ferrying people across with bridges and boats,
Giving, cultivating pure precepts,
And abandoning stinginess with wisdom:
Their merit increases day and night,
And they are always born among devas and humans.”
