33.51

放牛兒審諦　牛主有福德
六頭牛六年　成六十不減
放牛兒聰明　知分別諸相
如此放牛兒　先世佛所譽

When the cowherd is thorough and attentive,
The cattle owner has merit and fortune:
Six cows in six years
Become sixty without decrease.
When the cowherd is intelligent
And knows how to discern the various marks,
Such a cowherd as this
Was praised by the Buddhas of past ages.
